Professor Peter Mandaville, Director of the Ali Vural Ak Center for Global Islamic Studies, is currently in Berlin to speak at the Daimler US-European Forum on Global Issues, a two-day conference (May 3-4) bringing together experts and government officials from both Europe and the United States to discuss the shifting dynamics of the international political order. Professor Mandaville is speaking on a panel focused on the subject of political Islam alongside Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt. Other topics of discussion include close examinations of developments unfolding in Iran, China, and Russia.
The forum is co-sponsored by the Centre for European Reform, the Brookings Institution, and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP).
