Professor Mandaville to speak at Middle East Policy Council's annual Capitol Hill Conference on April 11

Professor Peter Mandaville, Director of the Ali Vural Ak Center for Global Islamic Studies, will be speaking at Middle East Policy Council's 68th annual Capitol Hill Conference on Wednesday, April 11, where the central topic of discussion will be "Politics in the New Middle East: Who Are the Major Players?". Professor Mandaville will be joined by other leading experts, including John Voll from Georgetown University, Steven Kull from the Program on International Policy Attitudes, and Alexis Arieff from the Congressional Research Service, and the discussion will be moderated by Thomas Mattair, Executive Director of the Middle East Policy Council.

The conference will be held in the Rayburn House Office Building, Gold Room (Room 2168) from 9:30am to 12:00pm.
