The Ali Vural Ak Center for Global Islamic Studies offers a number of small grants to faculty and graduate students in support of their research on topics relating to Islam or Muslim societies. In the spirit of its core research mission to advance a nuanced, multidisciplinary understanding of the Islamic faith and Muslim societies, the center values the diverse perspectives of researchers from various fields of study. Faculty and graduate students from all academic backgrounds who are conducting research projects related to Islam or Muslim communities are encouraged to apply for these different grants.
