The Washington Post recently carried an op-ed written by Susan Douglass, Grant Project Coordinator of the Ali Vural Ak Center for Global Islamic Studies. The op-ed was entitled “Claims of Pro-Islamic Bias in Textbooks Are Wrong,” and was an articulate and timely response to a textbook resolution released by the Texas Board of Education charging textbook publishers of “favoring Islam over Christianity.”
